Imma Get On This TV Mama, Imma, Imma Put Shit Down

"GOOD MORNIN'"

Anyway, lets get down to business. As a self proclaimed Kanye stan I HAD to be at this show. I didn't want to be bias so I took some non-stans with me (gotta even out the stan and non stanage). I had the perfect seats, 5th Row / Center. I sat right behind Jesus. No literally, this cat looked JUST LIKE JESUS!! A perverted Jesus with absolutely no rhythm, but Jesus none the less.

The show started promptly at 7:00 with Lupe Fiasco.

I gotta admit Lupe Fiasco is an awkward kind of fine. I mean, like the lil cute kid in the special class that no one wanted to admit they had a crush on. He did some cuts from "Food & Liquor" as well as "The Cool" (both hot albums by the way). The lovely Nikki Jean joined him on stage to sing "Gold Watch" and "Hip Hop Saved My Life". The verdict is still out on her voice though. She mumbles a lot so its hard to say if she can sing or not. But hey, she got a gig...take that Blu Cantrell! The one song that I can admit got me super hype (besides "Kick Push") was a song off of "The Cool" titled "Go Go Gadget Flow". Now normally, when this song pops up on the iPod I skip it. I mean seriously, its called Go Go Gadget (again Lupe with the special kid awkwardness) but the song is actually really really good, and the perfect song to play in the dirty south.

Next was N.E.R.D.

Ladies can I get a AMEN, Pharell is fine from any angle. I'd give my left lung and first born to get ONE NIGHT! Just ONE! N.E.R.D was not as I expected. I had never seen them live and frankly I wasn't sure if I was going to like them. Turns out, they were the highlight of my night. They had a hip hop / rock fused set and even after a few red bulls and a caffeine shot I was still on my ass tired after the first 20 minutes. They did a song off of their new album "Seeing Sounds" (out in June) . The song was called "Spaz".

Its starts off with 'I'm a little tea-pot short and stout' and somewhere in the middle I just remember going crazy and getting wild. I may have taken my shirt off, I'm not sure. I kind of just blacked out. I gotta say, I love that song lol.

Next was Rihanna-anna-eh-eh-eh.

I'm not going to beat up on her too hard. She had some hits, she tried, lord she tried. I have come to the realization that her voice is just nasally and she's still trying to find herself. Thats not her fault, she's young. She actually did well and she's growing on me a bit. She did her songs and did a little Beanie Man "Who Am I" and M.I.A - "Paper Planes" cover. Po' child even brought the butterfly and the shot-gun back..lol. All in all, I will keep this short and brief, she did aiight.

Next was Yeezy.

Its starts off with Kanye's spaceship (named Jane) going down in a crash and landing on a deserted planet. They do a few songs ranging from "Heard Em' Say" to "Can't Tell Me Nothing". Then he meets an alien robot naked chick that tells him that they need the biggest star on the planet to get them off the island. "We need you, Kanye" she says. So Kanye prays that if he can get off this island he promises that he'll spend his money right, he'll go to church and he'll stop spazzing out at awards shows. (Meanwhile I'm looking at Jesus sitting in front of me and he's not happy. He's giving Ye a mean SEOD, Dont lie to Jesus Ye, dont lie!). Kanye performs Flashing lights, Space Ship and Jesus Walks and Mama and all the other songs off of all of his albums lol. Next he's talking to his space ship Jane and he tells her how horny he is and how he needs sup P...well, she says, Sorry can't help ya (should have kept Alexis!!). Next a gold hologram comes up on screen and seduces Kanye, followed by "Gold Digger". Finally, Kanye finds his way back on earth, plays "Homecoming" , sweats all over stage, dances like a mad man and The End.

"GOOD LIFE"

"HEARD 'EM SAY"

"JESUS WALKS"

"FLASHING LIGHTS"

"GOLD DIGGER"

"I WONDER" (terrible sound quality)

Fantastic show lmao.

If you haven't bought tix to see Kanye in your town, Please do, its worth it. The show is absolutely the most entertaining thing you will experience all year.
